Figs aren't just for Old Folks!: Recipe
Really, it's not much of a recipe, at all. Figs can be rather sophisticated, actually. And they are deliciously sweet. While the water for the pasta was boiling, I simply wrapped about 1/2 piece of prosciutto di parma around 1/2 a ripe, fresh, fig. The salt and sweet are a perfect combination and it's great finger food for kids. Light, easy, and healthy.
* The prosciutto can be substituted with thinly sliced Virginia Ham, as well. The salty taste with the melon is a perfect combination
