Under "normal" circumstances it can be challenging to find time for a romantic dinner for two but when you have children...it can be near impossible to find that time. So it is important that you simply make the time. To celebrate some great news my husband shared, I made a special "dinner for two" to be served after the children went to bed.
The menu was simple so that it could be done easily and quickly (our kids dupe us into more water, another story, etc. so they don't get to bed until slightly after 9pm). But this dinner was a wonderful way to celebrate and enjoy each other's company.
This menu certainly can be used to serve more than two and because it is so simple, you can actually enjoy yourself.
