Food is so amazing; it is so often the focus of our lives - whether it's a celebration or a simple meal, food can bring together friends and families while nourishing the body and soul. I love food and I love to eat so it occurred to me that I could share this love with you. Bon Appetit!

'Twas The Night Before Christmas (Eve): Menu
I really can't believe that it's the night before Christmas Eve. I wonder where the time has gone, to be honest. It feels like just yesterday we said goodbye to our Christmas Eve guests and put away all the dishes. Hmmmmmm...oh well, the calender really did move!
This year I got to planning the menu much later than usual - seems I couldn't get control over the "to-do" list and the time got away. So instead of pouring over books and recipes, I'm going with what works and what we all like. So I am pleased with what I've come up with. It's a smaller group this year - we're 7 adults this year and only our two little ones - so I scaled back the amount of food on the menu (I tried!!) and certainly the quantity (again, I tried!!!).
